This DOES work with Verizon – but not always out of the box… I bought the watch fully expecting to simply add it to my Verizon account through the set up in the Watch app. That’s how it’s supposed to work but when I tried, I got the message from Verizon that my watch is not compatible with Verizon (like several other reviewers have posted here). I knew that was wrong since these watches are not network dependent so I called Verizon. I spent nearly an hour on the phone with 5 different reps only to be told by the last one that my watch was, in fact, not compatible and that I should return it and buy one from Verizon. I still didn’t believe them and decided to try one more time with my local Verizon store. The guys there were fantastic (Boylston St in Boston). They filed a trouble ticket with Verizon and 48 hours later my watch was recognized by the Verizon network and I could set it up. I’m sure all Verizon had to do was to whitelist the IMEI in their database and I can’t understand why the Verizon CSR’s on the phone couldn’t figure that out…

Incompatible with Verizon Wireless I ordered my iWatch 11/16 and chose 1 day shipping. It came in an adequate amount of time but my issue isn’t with the delivery. My issue is that nowhere in the description does it say that it is incompatible with Verizon Wireless. Actually it just says that it is (GPS + Cellular). I bought this as an early birthday present for my boyfriend but he can’t even get the cellular setup to work. We called Verizon and the representative informed us that unfortunately it is not compatible with their system. Even she thought that it was odd, she went above and beyond to try and make it work for us but no dice.

Series 4 is awesome when I don’t want to carry my phone I upgraded from a Series 1 and absolutely love it! The clarity with calls is excellent and the walkie-talkie feature is great with friends. Of course I can still text and email, even without my phone nearby.
