The “new” version is WATERY!! Not at ALL like what I’ve received for YEARS! I’ve been ordering this product for YEARS through Amazon, and have loved it UNTIL my May 2016 shipment, when it came watery/soupy and not at ALL like the thick gel-like consistency that it has been for years. I am seeing many other reviews like this. I’m nearly out of the not-so-great “imposter???” product, and am reluctant to re-order as this was so sub-par.However, I have to say, overall my hair LOVES WEN products – again have used for years, and no I have not lost any hair!!! I’ve tried it before and love how it keeps curly hair from swelling up in … I’ve tried it before and love how it keeps curly hair from swelling up in the humidity (only those with truly curly/frizzy hair would understand the ‘swelling’ thing.)

Good previously, hoping current bottle is a fluke I’ve purchased this a few times and makes my curls look great. Not sure what happened with last bottle though, consistency seems off. Previous versions were more gel like, firm, etc. Latest bottle seems slightly off in color, smells a little odd (maybe more almond?) and turns to puddle when squeezed into hand. Hoping its just an odd bottle and they didn’t change the formula.
